Tips for replacing removable SHT component
This guide applies to devices with hot-swappable SHT attachments (Main PCB boards RR03.0 and up) that measure Air Temperature and Relative Humidity.
Requires - 1x torx T-10 screwdriver
Step 1 — Remove the Fan
- Turn the device upside-down.
- Using a Torx T-10 screwdriver, remove the four screws holding the fan in place.
- Lift the fan gently and move it aside (no need to disconnect the cable) to gain access to the bottm internals of the case.

Step 2 — Remove the Old SHT25 Sensor
- Locate the small SHT25 module inside the device (green little PCB).
- Gently pull the SHT sensor straight upward until it comes out of its connector.
- Do not twist or force it.

Step 3 — Install the New SHT25 Sensor
- Align the new SHT25 with the connector slot.
- Push it straight down firmly until it is fully seated.
- Make sure it is inserted all the way to the end.
- A loose or half-inserted sensor will give incorrect readings.

Step 4 — Reassemble the Device
- Place the fan back in its original position . The cables need to go in the dent (see image below)
- Re-insert and tighten the four screws.
