Step 1 Insert the Sensor into the Metal Holder
Remove the sensor from its packaging and slide it into the metal holder. Ensure it seats flush and secure before proceeding. Orient the Dry Leaf Disc so that the black surface is facing upward, angled towards the camera lenses.

Step 2 Install the Metal Rod into the Metal Holder
Insert the metal rod (with the Dry Leaf Disc attached) into the metal holder. The rod end is precision-fitted and will only insert in a single correct orientation.
NOTE The end of the rod fits very tightly in the metal holder. Do not force it - if resistance is felt, check the orientation and re-align before applying pressure.

Step 3 Seat the Rod Fully
Push the metal rod all the way in until it is fully seated in the metal holder. Partial insertion will prevent the retaining pieces from locking correctly.

Step 4 Lock with the White Retaining Pieces
When the rod is fully and correctly inserted, the white retaining pieces will fit onto the metal frame and lock the rod securely in place.
NOTE If the retaining pieces do not sit flush, the rod is not fully seated. Remove the rod and repeat Step 3.
