How to Calibrate CO₂

How to Calibrate CO₂

This articles describes how and when to calibrate the CO₂ sensor of the AirPro and AirPro+ models.

When do I have to Calibrate?
👉
When first receiving your AirPro or AirPro+ sensors, before initial use.
👉
After every impact (i.g. sensor is dropped).
👉
We also recommend to calibrate the CO₂ sensor every 2 months. Due to settling of dust particles inside the chamber of the CO₂ sensor, you can experience a deviation of readings over time.

Steps:

1. Go to an open field.

2. Remove the top cover to expose the top of the internal PCB.

3. Inside the Remote Node you will find a button on top of the PCB (#1 in image to the right), keep it pressed to start the calibration.

Once pressed, you will see three short blinks from the blue LED (#2 on image to the right) - keep the button pressed during the 3 short blinks.

4. After the 3 short blinks, the calibration mode begins - you will see the blinking become continuous. Please move away from the remote node to avoid contaminating the calibration.

5. After one minute the calibration has finished, you can pick up your Remote Node.
