Welcome to our new fleet of Central Stations! Our intention with this new design is to streamline your connectivity experience. Simply take the central station out of the box, plug it in, and if your sensors are nearby you are ready to go.
Setup
When selecting location to plugin your central keep in mind:
Sensors should be placed within a radius of 500m of your Central Node
- Once selecting a suitable location, please proceed to plugin your central station. Once connecting to a power socket, please wait a few minutes for the semi-translucent top to light up. (See table1 below ) After a few minutes, the center should light up blue to indicate it is working.
- If the center is lit blue, the central station will automatically communicate with your sensors and receive their data/readings.
- You can login to see the data from your sensors via the app:
What do the colors indicate?
Color | Color Example | Signal | Action |
---|---|---|---|
Red | Critical error | Please return to Sigrow for diagnosis | |
Magenta | Appears when first plugging in to power supply, means passed Quality Check | If light stays magenta for several minutes, please contact Sigrow so we can adjust connectivity in your region | |
Green | Connected and registered in the network. Has internet connection but have not received message from sensor in last hour. | Please move your sensors right next to the central station and wait 1 hour to check if there is distance or other interference causing messages from your sensor not to be received. If nothing changes, please contact Sigrow | |
Blue | Receiving messages from sensor | Working smoothly, no actions required! |
Care
- We recommend keeping the Central node protected from direct exposure to chemicals
- The CNv5 is designed to withstand some exposure to water and light. To ensure longevity of the product, we recommend keeping it protected from the elements.
